Dear Sisters in Christ,
​
I hope that you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy during this unprecedented period. Our heart goes out to those who have been affected by the coronavirus either directly or by the loss of a loved one.
As you know, in the interest of our attendees and in compliance with public health advisories, we had to cancel Niagara Ladies Retreat 2020. It was a difficult but right decision. This happened just one week before our event, when almost all preparations were in place including significant expenses. Up to this point our expenses totalled $63, 520.03.

I appreciate your prayers and patience with us while we negotiated with White Oaks Resort. I am happy to say we have received a more favourable response from the hotel. Previously we were being required to pay the full cost of this year’s retreat which would be applied to retreat 2021. Instead, they have agreed to hold the existing deposit of $50,000 on file to be applied to the March 2021 retreat, without requiring full pre-payment at this time.

As you have stood with us in prayer to this point, we hope you will also do so in the financial resolution of this difficult decision. We have heard from persons who would like us to keep their payment and apply it to the next retreat, as well as from persons who would like a refund. We respect you and your money and so would like you to tell us your decision.

What are my options?
The Planning Committee would like to present the following options to you:

We can keep the payment you have made and apply it completely to NLR 2021.

You may request a refund of your payment less $100 to help with expenses.
What should you do?

There are three ways to provide your response:

If you registered as a group from your local church, tell your Women’s Ministry Director your decision, she will prepare a list and send to us.

Thanks for your support of NLR over the years. We look forward to hosting you at NLR March 2021 where we expect God to show up mightily among us. Our God is a good God and He will help us get through this together.
